Getting the shot

We needed to think of how we would shoot the footage as it needed to be eye height and the persons hands were on the script so they couldn’t hold it themselves. We discussed making a helmet of some sort which would have the camera securely attached to the actors head. The link is the making of one of our major influences, ‘Peep Show’, showing how they film. For our project we decided that Oscar himself would be the camera man and hold the camera on a tripod over his shoulder, Jamie would also be a camera man and would navigate Oscar around the room then take control when Oscar’s hands needed to be in the footage.
